Kick Ass Workout!

success-kid-meme-generator-time-to-kick-some-ass-f0812bI came across a real kick ass workout a couple weeks back and wanted to share it with you.  If you don’t have time for T25, Insanity, P90x etc, and want a quick pump and cardio workout try this one on for size.

It’s call the 300 challenge, found the workout here.  The goal is to complete the 300 reps as fast as you can, breaks are allowed but remember the clock is ticking.  My plan is to do this Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings on top of my normal weekly running and Tuesday/Thursday circuit weight training.  Perhaps after a month or so I try turn this into the 600 challenge.

1.  25 push ups

2. 50 burpees (don’t know what a burpee is, click here)

3. 50 kettlebell swings (I’m using 30 lbs.)

4. 50 box jumps

5. 50 (25 each side) v-sit and twist (I’m using 12 lb. medicine ball)

6. 50 (25 each arm) kettlebell clean and press (I’m using 30 lbs.)

7. 25 push ups

There you have it, let me know how you do, on average I can complete this in 13 minutes.  I’d like to make a run at the top time posted which is 11:44.  Good Luck!
