Awhile back I had wondered why there was no Vanilla Shakeology since normally I would go for vanilla flavor when it came to protein drinks etc…
I would later find out that most vanilla flavors had to use artificial flavors in order to get the taste. So with Shakeology being all natural and the healthiest meal of the day there was no way they could just slip that in. Actually ya know what listen to the video below of the CEO Carl Daikeler talk about it. Integrity is why I am in this business! Gets good about the 2:30 mark.
My Review Of Vanilla Shakeology Is Below The Video
I love Vanilla Shakeology, but Chocolate is still my favorite!
I really never thought I would choose chocolate over vanilla. I remember over a year ago when I first started with Shakeology I was bummed there was no vanilla, but the chocolate was great. Don’t get me wrong, vanilla is awesome, but if I had to drink one the rest of my life it would prob be chocolate.
To be honest my review is going to do nothing for your taste buds. You need to try it for yourself. With the 30 day bottom of the bag guarantee you cannot go wrong. Try it for 2-3 weeks and if you don’t drop some weight, have more energy, and just feel better overall then send it back for a full refund minus shipping and handling.
I will say this though… you can mix vanilla with a lot! Chocolate at least in my opinion does not mix well with certain fruits like peaches, but the vanilla with peaches is pretty darn good!
So there ya have it. Not sure what else you want to know from me. Vanilla is good, but I like chocolate more… Shakeology has helped me maintain my weight over the last year when I would normally bounce up and down 10-15lbs. I have more energy and feel great! It has been my breakfast everyday for a long time now.
Hey welcome to The Fit Dads!
My name is Chris Azzari and I started the fit dads with Ken & Mike to keep us accountable and in shape! There is nothing better then having a group of friends keeping each other accountable. Our goal is to help other dads either get in shape or stay in shape. We all know we want to keep up with our kids ;-)

A little about me...
I am a 34 year old father of two boys. Maxwell "3" & Westin "9 months". My wife Stefanie is a stay at home mom and keeps busy running those two rug rats around ;-) She also stays in shape by working out.
I have always been an active guy. In high school I played sports all year long, ate whatever I wanted and had tons of energy. Of course as I got older, went to college that all started to slack. I always made sure I was somewhat active and would hit the gym here and there, but my diet was horrible as most college guys are. At 6'3" I was always able to carry an extra few pounds and still look OK, but feeling OK was a different story.
It all changed...
Up until 2010... actually wait let me rewind for a second here. Back in 2001 I actually tried my first Beach Body program which was called Power 90 "it was on VHS ;-)". This was the prequel to the famed P90X. I did not know much about BeachBody or Tony Horton back then. All I knew was I did this workout for about a month and I felt great! The spring was back in my step and I was feeling good. Of course I slacked...
Gym Limbo
For the next 9 years I would be in "Gym Limbo"... you know aimlessly walking around the gym and not really having a plan or actually following through. Barely even breaking a sweat sometimes. Of course it was better then nothing, but I was never really getting the results I wanted. At one point I was 252 pounds, the most I have ever weighed. Nowadays I am usually around 220-225.
OK back to 2010... I saw the Insanity commercials and said hey I remember the Power 90 workout and this looks way more intense. My first son was just born and it was hard to find time to get to the gym let alone workout, so I figured this will save me time and money. I decided to take the challenge. All I could say was wow! I was getting the workout of my life. I was so sore the first few weeks, but I felt great.
